TEXAS TORNADO CAKE



Amazing Texas Tornado Cake. What a delicious and easy-to-make cake! The cake consists of a can of fruit cocktail in the mixture. Then before you bake the cake, sprinkle a piece of streusel on top with nuts. After the cake comes out of the oven, add a layer of boiled coconut and pour it over the cake while it is hot. Oh, so delicious!

* Ingredients:

cake:
° 2 cups all-purpose flour
° 1 teaspoon baking soda
° 2 cups granulated sugar
° 2 large eggs
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 20 ounce can crushed pineapple
Topping:
° 1/2 cup salted butter
° 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
° 2/3 cup evaporated milk
° 1 cup granulated sugar
° 1 cup chopped pecans
° 1 c coconut flakes

* Methods :

Preheat oven to 350 degrees / grease a 9×13 baking tray with butter
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, vanilla, and mashed pineapple together
Pour into a baking tray and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown
Make several holes in the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon
In a medium saucepan, heat the butter, sugar, evaporated milk and vanilla until boiling
Mix the walnuts with the coconut and continue to cook for 5 minutes over a medium heat, stirring constantly
Pour the topping evenly over the cake, slice and Enjoy !
