Apple Pie Egg Roll




*Ingredients

° 3 cups apple chunks, peeled and cut into chunks, I use Granny Smith
° 2 teaspoons cornstarch
° 3 teaspoons caster sugar
° 1 ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
° ½ cup cold water
° 1 teaspoon vanilla
° 6 sheets of rolled eggs

*Instructions

FIRST STEP:
 Mix the water with the cornstarch in a small saucepan
Add apples and sugar and vanilla
SECOND STEP:
Simmer on heat apples begin to soften
Pour apple mixture to a bowl
THIRD STEP:
Set aside and let cool for about an hour
Once cool, preheat the oven to 350*
FOURTH STEP:
Lightly flour the surface for the spring rolls, lay them out
Place ⅓ cup of apple mixture in the center of each package
FIFTH STEP:
use your fingers, tap he edges of the wrapper with water on all 4 sides
Bring all four edges about ¼ inch. This is to hold the filling in place
STEP SIX:
Start rolling the wrapper lengthwise until it's done.
Seal with a touch of water
Place each rolled dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
STEP SEVEN:
Spray lightly with cooking spray and place on center rack of hot oven
STEP EIGHT:
Bake 25 to 30 minutes
You can dust with a cinnamon sugar mixture, a light dusting of icing sugar, or make a simple icing with icing sugar and milk.
